Mission
NJSCIS offers undergraduate students academically challenging and personally rewarding international experiences in a collegiate setting at an affordable price.
An intimate understanding of foreign cultures is a valuable asset in this age of globalization, and NJSCIS is dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to discover, learn, and enrich their lives.
Introduction
The New Jersey State Consortium for International Studies, one of the oldest of its kind in the country, was formed in 1966 by New Jersey colleges to promote international education. It was founded with the idea that there is strength in numbers, and over four decades it has grown to a point where it can offer Study Abroad programs in 34
countries. In addition to direct programs with international
partners, NJSCIS is also affiliated with such reputable organizations as
CCIS (College Consortium for International Studies),
CEA (Cultural Experiences Abroad) and
ISA (International Studies Abroad). NJSCIS sends hundreds of students every semester to locations throughout the world. If you cannot find the
answers to your questions, the
Director and NJSCIS
coordinators invite you to contact them in order to learn more about the wonderful opportunities that await you.
