Location:  The University campus is located in Melbourne. A 5-day orientation program is offered one week prior to class commencement every semester. The orientation program provides a broad introduction to the university and usually includes a tour of the city as well as a field trip to one of Melbourne's many popular attractions.

VU owns and operates the Student Village, a residential facility catering for 600 students.  Situated on acres of parkland, the Village is close to most campuses and is only 9 kilometers from the center of Melbourne.  Good public transportation operates in the area.  The Village offers an extensive variety of recreational facilities as well as computing and library facilities.

Student Village requires a transcript, reference letter and an AU$22.00 application fee along with their application for housing. Students can not pay with credit cards for housing. Consult the NJSCIS coordinator for information on how to purchase a check in Australian Dollars.
