of no better place to pursue your studies. Our member institutions offer
hundreds of programs for every interest and specialization. The NJSCIS coordinators
look forward to supporting you in selecting a university that will give
you the personal, academic and professional experience of a lifetime.
1) Students whose university is not affiliated with NJSCIS should contact
the desired school using the links below and apply directly to that institution.
For NJ State universities (public universities), you will likely be required
to pay “out-of-State tuition as well as fees, room and board.

Does my home institution have a relationship with NJSCIS?
In order to determine if your home institution is affiliated with NJSCIS, please click on the name of your home country on the countries page, then look for the name of your institution. If the name of your institution is listed, talk to your home coordinator. If the name of your institution is not listed, you may contact us or one of the NJSCIS member institutions. We look forward to exploring every inquiry.
How can I apply for an NJSCIS program?
We will need to receive the following forms from you after you have spoken to your study abroad coordinator and the coordinator has approved your studies at one of our institutions:
-A two page NJSCIS International Student Application
-The NJSCIS Health Form which needs to be completed by your physician
-Proof of financial support for indicated visitation period, at least $10,000 per semester.
-Proof of insurance. Minimal coverage includes adeductible not to exceed $500 per accident/illness. It is strongly suggested that students carefully evaluate their particular coverage.
-An official transcript from your home institution.
-One written recommendation form, completed by your study abroad coordinator.
-Submission of a received TOEFL test score of 550 for the paper test, or 213 for the computer test, if English is not your first language.

Who is eligible to study at NJSCIS member institutions?
NJSCIS will accept any student who has achieved a minimum of sophomore status (the equivalent of 30 credits) and who qualifies for study abroad based on home institution requirements.
How much will my semester abroad cost?
The cost of your semester in New Jersey depends on the terms of the agreement between NJSCIS and your home institution. Your coordinator will be able to share these details with you.
